About Us
Adorele consists of a large family with myself Lesa, my husband and four children. My husband and I are committee members of the Havanese Club of GB and I also sit on the committee of the Coton de Tulear Club of the UK. We are fully licensed with the local council (rated 5 Stars - Higher Standards: Breeding Dog Licence: 8017). This shows our commitment and passion to both of these wonderful breeds. Our dogs are truly adored and all live indoors in the house sharing our family life. All our dogs are health tested and we are always striving to further our knowledge both in theory and practice.
Fully Licensed
Lesa Miles (Adorele)

Five Star (Higher Standards) Rated (2019, 2022 and 2025)
In the continual pursuit of best practice breeding in Havanese and Coton de Tulear, Adorele has been fully licensed by West Dorset District Council and now Dorset Council since January 2017. After another highly successful external inspection in January 2019, Adorele was awarded the highest 5-star (Higher Standards) rating in accordance with the new law governing licensed breeders (operational from October 2018). Adorele was once again inspected and awarded the highest 5-star (Higher Standards) rating again in March 2022 and March 2025. This means that Adorele has been awarded the highest 5-star (Higher Standards) rating on three consecutive occasions.
Contributions to the Havanese and Coton de Tulear Breeds
Lesa is well-known for her contributions to preserving the best standards, health and wellbeing of the Havanese and Coton de Tulear breeds. She was, for example, appointed by the Havanese Club of Great Britain (HCGB) as the official UK Kennel Club recognised Havanese Rehoming Coordinator from 2024 to 2026. During her time as the Rehoming Coordinator, she was the lead contact of the HCGB and found new happy, forever homes for over 30 Havanese dogs.

She is also qualified as a breed specialist judge for both breeds and judges at UK dog shows on a regular basis.
Former Member of the UK Kennel Club's Assured Breeders Scheme (2012-2024)
Adorele was an approved Member of the UK Kennel Club's Assured Breeders Scheme (2012-2024) until the expiry of the Scheme on 31 December 2024. During that time, we passed formal inspections by a UK Kennel Club Assessor on four separate occasions (March 2014, July 2016, July 2019 and October 2022).
