Versailles Tanika Adorele

Tanika

With her showy nature and absolute love of the show ring, Tanika went on to become one of the UK's best known Havanese, and was successful at shows all over Europe.

Indeed, an article in OUR DOGS (22nd February 2013, p. 15), the leading weekly newspaper in Europe for those interested in dog showing and breeding, described Tanika 'as one of the UK's most successful Havanese dogs of recent times'.

As illustration, her official title was:

INT, GER (VDH), SLO (Ch. SLO), UKR, BALK, BUL, BUL GD, MOLD, MOLD GD, TUR, CYP, CYP GD, GEO, AZER, PHIL, CHAMPION, JWW-12, CRUFTS Res BOS-12, BUNDESSIEGER-12, SLOV-WIN-13.

During her show career, she gained many awards - winning some 15 Champion titles, including becoming a prestigious FCI International Champion and a VDH German Champion in 2013. Tanika also won many additional top accolades including Reserve Best Bitch at Crufts 2012, Junior World Winner 2012 at the World Dog Show in Salzburg, Austria, and Best Bitch and Federal Junior Winner (Bundesseiger) at the prestigious Dortmund International Show in Germany in 2012 to name just a few.

Tanika was awarded her prestigious title as FCI International Beauty Chamipion in October 2013. She was also an FCI Multi-Grand Champion and Champion, holding FCI accredited titles of VDH German Champion (2013), Slovenian Beauty Champion (2013), Bulgarian Champion, Bulgarian Grand Champion, Balkan Champion, Champion and Grand Champion of Cyprus, Champion and Grand Champion of Moldova, Ukrainian Champion, Turkish Champion, Champion of Azerbaijan, Champion of Georgia and Philippines Champion (all in 2012).

Over the years, it was so much fun campaigning Tanika! She took to travelling around Europe like a Royal Princess, and she always remained fun to travel with, often visiting Europe with her best buddy, the aptly named Prince, as they experienced their many successes.

During her times abroad, Tanika was awarded 16 (FCI) JCACs (as a Junior), and a further 25 CACs, 7 CACIBs and 1 Reserve CACIB (as an adult) from 15 different countries. She also won Best of Breed (BOB) some 16 times ... .

She won her CACs, CACIBs, Reserve CACIB, and BOBs under international judges from no less than 22 different countries from across the world.

So proud that Tanika was one of the first of the Adorele Havanese & Coton de Tulear champions. Above all, she was a beautiful Havanese who also equally enjoyed her times at home in the stunning Dorset countryside and loved by all.

Tanika enjoyed her retirement in luxury with us for the rest of her days. We kept three of her daughters - in particular Int Ch and FR Ch Adorele Angel In The Snow (Crinkle) who became a full French Chanpion (2017) and FCI International Champion (2019).
